learning how to teach to different learning types

Because I am a Health Science Teacher, and I am teaching the future health care professionals of the world, I feel obligated to make sure that they have a great understanding of what is important in health care. I need to make sure that they are able to perform important procedures, and to do this I use the most technology that I have can, or that is available to me. My students learn in all different ways, and what works for one student may not work for the other, but I still encourage them to teach each other the different ways that they learn certain things. Teachers that do nothing but lecture will not be able to get the students that learn by hands on activities or the visual learner to understand what they are trying to get across to them, because they just don't learn that way. That is why I feel it is important that I bring in and use different tools to teach with. Yes, lectures are a good way to start off a lesson, but students need more than that.
